Junior Business Controller

YOKUU makes probiotic cleaning products for people who want a cleaner home and a healthier planet. 

We're growing fast — across channels, markets, and complexity. We need someone inside the business who keeps our numbers sharp day-to-day and helps us make smarter decisions faster.

We're looking for someone who is eager to gain experience across all aspects of the finance organization, and who is excited to learn on the job. With direct coaching from our founder (former McKinsey jr partner) and our CMO (former Bain Capital, Harvard MBA).

What you'll do

  • P&L reporting & analyses
    • Structure and interpret data from Shopify and Exact Online. Gather insights for the business, e.g. performance by the channel (B2B vs B2C).
    • Ensure a smooth monthly closing process for our entire P&L. Clean and on time, every month.
  • Inventory tracking & valuation
    • Help set up inventory tracking across our locations and partner/3PL sites.
    • Get familiar with valuation methods (FIFO, average cost) and help us land on the right approach.
  • Working capital & cash flow
    • Help maintain a rolling cash flow overview — tracking receivables, payables, and stock positions. Keep the picture up to date and flag anything that looks off.
    • Support our factoring facility — preparing documents, following up with the bank, keeping the process on track.
  • Invoice management & accountant liaison
    • Collect and process invoices. Be a reliable point of contact for our external accountant — keep the admin clean and make sure nothing slips.
  • Strategic reporting & fundraising support
    • Help build reports and dashboards that connect financial data to business decisions. This includes supporting our upcoming funding round — working on the financial narrative, models, and materials investors will scrutinize

Who you are

  • You have work experience in finance through an internship or first job (0-2 years)
  • You are curious and eager to learn - no need to master everything from day 1
  • You are at ease with data and creating meaningful insights
  • You are detail-oriented and structured
  • You are fluent in English or Dutch - both is a plus
  • You are based in or willing to relocate to Antwerp-region or Randstad (Amsterdam office)
  • Experience with Exact Online or similar ERP systems and/or Shopify is a plus (but not a must)
