Whilst writing my bio-engineer thesis, I discovered that 99% of bacteria are healthy... So why are we so obsessed with killing them?  
Here's a couple of our most frequently asked questions:

+ How do I make the Dish Soap?

Fill your bottle with water between 30–60°C, right up to the line on the bottle. The warmer, the faster your gel forms.

Tear open the sachet and tip in the 25g of powder. Screw the cap on counter-clockwise - push and twist if it's being stubborn. Shake hard for 20 seconds, then walk away for 15 to 30 minutes. Let the billions do their thing.

Come back, give it one last shake, and boom - you're ready to YOKUU. Prime the pump with around 10 presses. If nothing comes out, cover the opening with your thumb and pump a few more times to create pressure.

+ How do I use the Dish Soap?

Squeeze a bit of soap straight onto your sponge. It's as simple as that!

Soaking a stack of dishes? Add a squirt to a bowl of warm water and let them sit.

Dealing with a properly greasy pan? Splash in some warm water, add a squeeze of soap, let it work for a minute, then wipe clean.

One thing to avoid: squirting it straight into a full sink - that dilutes it too much and it won't cut through grease as well.

+ Is it safe for sensitive skin?

Yes - it's gentle enough for daily use, even on sensitive hands. pH-neutral, hypoallergenic, no harsh chemicals hiding in there. Pick whichever suits you: a lightly scented version, or fragrance-free if your skin needs the extra care.

+ Running into issues?

Haven't used the dish soap in a while? Just give the bottle a quick shake before you use it - it keeps everything mixed properly.

Not much foam coming out? Totally normal - foam just gives the illusion of cleaning power, it's not actually doing the work.

Noticing a weird smell or some residue building up in the bottle? Easy fix - your bottle's dishwasher-safe, so just give it a proper clean in there.

+ Are YOKUU's bacteria safe?

The bacteria in our products are 100% safe - so safe that they're technically edible (but we wouldn't recommend it).
